The villagers made sure we were very well fed. The entire day, people who were fasting and who have very little material things, made sure we feasted like kings. Refusing the food they were offering was not an option, regardless of how full we were.

Ezra, an Israeli volunteer with the group Ta'ayush. His organization documents and challenges the Israeli Army's demolition of Palestinian villages. They attend protests and although the Israeli Army does not use the violence against them that they dish out against Palestinians, their members still get arrested.
In Ezra's words, "The Army does not f___ with us. We are a pain in their ass".
