This afternoon, we noticed a group of Israeli soldiers, two of them wearing black ski masks, clap and whistle and wave some flags that we were unable to identify. A bunch of soldiers then ran by them, holding stretchers and carrying something on them. Clapping and whistling, they then ran after them.
We had no idea what was going on, but they seemed to be having lots of fun.
If these men weren't upholding an illegal and racist occupation and making lives unbearable for the Palestinian residents of H2 Hebron, it would have been tempting to join in the festivities.
